The Royal Caribbean Group’s Identity and Acess Management team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer reporting to the Manager, Identity & Access Management.
This position is open to remote candidates.
Position Summary
The Lead, Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer will drive our Privilieged Access strategy and implementation within Royal Caribbean.
We are looking for a seasoned expert with significant experience in crafting and deploying comprehensive PAM solutions for large organisations. In this position, you will spearhead the creation and application of security policies, procedures, and best practices concerning privileged access. Your expertise in refining PAM platforms will safeguard administrators and applications while improving user experience. Working closely with the IAM Manager and Director will be critical in advancing our PAM roadmaps and strategic objectives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Regularly evaluate and enhance PAM Tool deployments, such as BeyondTrust, ensuring alignment with our PAM and IAM strategic roadmaps.
Design and lead the implementation of Hashi Corp Vault infrastructure, ensuring seamless access, operational resilience, and user-friendly functionality.
Maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
Develop and promote security policies, procedures, and best practices related to privileged access for IT security and business stakeholders.
Identify and address risk gaps, creating and executing remediation plans for privileged access findings.
Foster collaboration with other IT teams to seamlessly integrate PAM tools, such as BeyondTrust, with the broad spectrum of security and IT systems.
Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiencies within PAM Tools.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate PAM tools, such as BeyondTrust, with a wide range of security and IT systems.
Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to PAM team members to establish a robust 24/7 support model and enhance engineering skills within the IAM framework.
Actively engage in security incident response and PagerDuty duties, coordinating with vendors as needed to expedite resolutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging best practices, and security vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive security patching and fixes.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security with a primary focus on PAM.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience with BeyondTrust software and Hashi Corp Vault.
Preferred certifications include CISSP or CISM.
Proficiency in working with Windows, Linux, Unix, Oracle, and SQL DB2 platforms.
Technical familiarity with core infrastructure architectures and tools, encompassing Active Directory, Server/OS, Storage, Middleware, Database, Network/Telecom (including switches, load balancers, routers, and firewalls), and Application topologies.

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a strong ability to organize and motivate teams.
In-depth knowledge of PAM concepts and industry best practices.
Extensive experience in designing and integrating PAM solutions across various IT systems.
Proficiency in scripting languages, including PowerShell, Python, and AutoIT.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time efficiently.
