Program Manager to join our St. Louis team. This position is hybrid and requires being onsite 1 day a week in the Clayton area. Only candidates local to St. Louis, MO will be considered.

Job Overview:
The IT Program Manager will have complete responsibility for the day-to-day management of the engagement, including all aspects related to managing our consulting team. The IT Program Manager oversees the development of IT programs in alignment with the overall business strategy. This role involves leading the creation and execution of program plans consisting of multiple projects within a large, distributed organization. The Program Manager partners with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on timing, scope, and budget related to associated programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee IT program development aligned with business strategy
- Lead program plan creation and execution across large, distributed organizations
- Guide, coach, and mentor team members and project managers
- Demonstrate and reinforce expert knowledge of project and program management practices
- Create and deliver executive-level communication with Program Sponsor and Portfolio Manager
- Direct and monitor program documentation and performance communication
- Handle program reporting needs and provide overall view of program health
- Collaborate with sponsors on program financials and perform financial analysis
- Define and finalize program scope for highly complex programs
- Communicate issue resolution recommendations to decision makers
- Manage integration of vendor tasks and deliverables, and track contractual obligations
- Oversee resource requests and provide recommendations on resource constraints
- Monitor program risk and adherence to standards, escalating as necessary
- Conduct interim and post-program reviews to assess needs
- Incorporate security and compliance in all decisions and job responsibilities
- Monitor and implement task automation and process improvements
Qualifications
- 10+ years in consulting, with relationship and account management experience
- 5-10 years in Program Management
- Expertise in JIRA Dashboard and slide deck creation
- Strong skills in relationship building, executive presence, and navigating ambiguity
- Hands-on project documentation and industry best practices knowledge
- Experience managing large, multi-team engagements in complex environments
- Proposal creation and presentation leadership experience
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- PMP Certification (preferred)
- Requires advanced knowledge in professional discipline
- Applies advanced knowledge of business and industry to recommend best practices
- Works independently with guidance in complex situations
- May lead efforts with moderate risk and complexity
- Acts as a resource for colleagues at all levels in the organization
- Solves and guides others to solve complex problems using analytical thinking and judgment
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
