About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Head of Cyber / IT Security to lead and manage the organization’s cybersecurity initiatives. This role will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data, develop and enforce security policies, and manage IT security operations across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the IT security program at DiligenceVault including infrastructure, endpoints and access management
• Development, implementation and maintenance of firmwide security policies and procedures. 
• Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and access of client data, company data including PII 
• Investigation and tracking of incidents and breaches as well as compliance with data privacy regulations
• Selecting appropriate vendors for this security infrastructure
• Lead the development of relevant training programs for cybersecurity
• Partner with product team and CTO to ensure secure coding standards, as well as secure configuration of infrastructure, and AI security best practices
• Contribute to the purchase of cybersecurity insurance and maintenance of coverage levels
• Contribute to DiligenceVault’s independent penetration testing, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 audits
• Assist in client security diligence process, including overseeing responding to security sections of IT DDQs

Requirements

• CISSP, CISM, or CISA a strong plus
• Bachelor’s degree: master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of IT governance or security related experience, with increasing management responsibility
• Good communication skills
• Strong leadership, people management, and internal and external relationship building skills
