Senior  eCommerce Merchandising Specialist

Purpose:  

As a Senior eCommerce Merchandising / Content Specialist you’ll work cross-functionally to implement eCommerce best practices including merchandising, promotional strategies, SEO tactics, digital content management, conversation rate optimization and more.  

 

This position is a centralized touchpoint that connects digital initiatives between eCommerce to Marketing, Innovation, Technology, and Analytics.

Location: This position will work onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.  

What that looks like day to day  

  • Execute online merchandising strategies, including product categorization, search optimization, and product content to enhance the customer shopping experience
  • Execute product updates on both the website and POS system, ensuring accurate product listings, seasonal merchandising, and alignment with marketing messages
  • Execute promotional content and setup. Ensuring accuracy and active communication cross functionally. 
  • Launch and strategize digital content such as homepage and category page assets to support promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Services and Technology teams to upload marketing messages, product assortments, and landing pages to the site, ensuring quick adjustments for promotions Monitor and conduct site audits regularly to ensure product information, links, and overall site content are accurate and up to date
  • Analyze and report out on site data daily to optimize the customer experience, identifying opportunities to improve KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, and content optimization.
  • Serve as the eCommerce subject matter expert (SME) and go-to person for cross-functional teams, providing insights and recommendations on initiatives to meet business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies and ensure alignment across eCommerce, Marketing, Technology, and Analytics in driving site performance

Required Experience:  

  • 3-5 years of B2C/D2C eCommerce merchandising experience, with expertise in product categorization, search strategies, and product content management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and optimization, with the ability to analyze and act on KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, and customer frequency
  • Advanced knowledge of office and reporting tools, including Google/Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms and CMS systems (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce) to manage product listings, merchandising, and digital content

  • You are extremely attentive to detail and understand the importance of maintaining accurate product assortments and optimizing digital content, attention to detail is critical.
