Job description

This is a remote position.

AGE Solutions is looking for Senior Systems Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency’s maintenance and configuration of their Enterprise Workflow Support Capability, which is built on the Commercial Off-the-Shelf product, RSA Archer version 6.4. The candidate must have an RSA Archer certification and solid Systems Engineering background to include installing GFE, applying patches, managing file systems, monitoring performance and troubleshooting alerts. They must have experience installing, configuring and maintaining COTS software solutions to include RSA Archer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Install, configure, and maintain COTS software products.
  • Identify and perform data migration efforts and/or interface requirements.
  • Perform system deployment and adherence to Agency lifecycle management policies and procedures, including (but not limited) support for software / technology refresh activities.
  • Install GFE, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts from monitoring tools as required.
  • Provide support for necessary interfaces to embedded systems such as data extraction and data insertion.
  • Conduct application regulatory change reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
  • Perform system failure analysis and recovery to ensure the consistency and integrity of file systems.
  • Maintain security postures as designated by the assigned Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Provide, test, implement, and validate system security patching, software updates, service patches, upgrades, and configuration/policy changes while adhering to the DLA Configuration Management (CM) process to ensure full compliance with DoD Information Assurance (IA) Directives, Federal IA policies/regulations, internal DLA IA protocols, and JTF-GNO directives or Tasking’s as well as security implementation/compliance requirements (such as DISA Security Technical Information Guides (STIGs), Gold Disk, vulnerability Scans, etc.).
  • Configure and maintain system backups to conform to IA controls requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of the system and provide audit trails / transaction logging.
  • Perform system / application diagnostics through the use of GFE to ensure availability and/or provide notification of problems to administrators.
  • Perform additional system administration support services as identified within the scope of services for Task Order.
  • Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections which includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.
  • Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
  • Provides end user training. Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
  • Must support both local and remote maintenance to various operational systems deployed at more than one location which includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
  • Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance.
  • Performs vulnerability management.
  • Rack/Stack equipment when needed.
  • Cable equipment if needed.


Requirements
  • Current DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing,
    • Six (6) of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions.
    • Four (4) of which are concentrated, hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
  • Must have IAT-II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP).
  • Must have a current RSA Archer Administrator certification.
  • Must have one of the following CE Certifications: MCSA: WS2016, MCSE: WS2016, MCSA 2003, MCSE 2003, M2003 NET 4, M2008 NET 7, MCITP SA, MCITP EA, MCSA:WS2012, MCSE:WS2012, MCSA:WS2008, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET, MCM: Windows Server 2008: Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M
  • Must be able to support on call work.
  • Local travel in the DC, Maryland, Virgina area (applicants must reside in the DC metro area.)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
  • Must be able to crawl on the floor or stretch high to rack, stack equipment and update, install or remove cabling for equipment.
