Role & Responsibilities:

Scrum Master Responsibilities

1. Facilitating Scrum Events:

• Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure these events are productive and adhere to the timebox.

2. Coaching and Mentoring:

• Guide team members in self-management and cross-functionality.
• Provide coaching on Agile practices, principles, and continuous learning.

3. Removing Impediments:

• Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.
• Address internal and external blockers to ensure a smooth workflow.

4. Supporting the Product Owner:

• Assist with effective Product Backlog management.
• Facilitate collaboration and communication with stakeholders.

5. Promoting Continuous Improvement:

• Encourage the team to reflect on their processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement process changes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

6. Maintaining Scrum Artifacts:

• Ensure that Scrum boards and tools (like Jira) are accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor and analyze burndown charts and other key metrics to track progress.

7. Internal Consulting:

• Act as an advisor to team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
• Mediate team disagreements and promote effective work styles.
