Job description

The Inside Sales Energy Advisor is responsible for managing a large volume of inbound small and medium commercial leads, guiding potential clients through throcess to deliver best-in-class energy advice. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent, and client-facing environment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Respond to inbound phone, email and chat inquiries, providing guidance to potential customers on electricity procurement for the business
  • Present electricity purchasing options to clients in a clear, value-driven, and helpful manner
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to questions, inquires, and resolving issues
  • Set proper expectations for deliverables, both with customers and internal teams
  • Utilize internal systems to request pricing and energy usage information
  • Consistently close business and achieve sales goals
  • Collaborate with 5’s operations teams to quickly address customer service issues and keep clients informed of the resolution

  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be comfortable on the phone (both inbound and outbound calls)
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve the systems and processes used by the business
  • Personable, comfortable with giving and receiving constructive criticism and praise
  • 1+ years of inside sales experience
  • Previous experience in deregulated energy preferred
  • Spanish speaking is a bonus
  • BA or BS preferred
