About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a legally qualified, experienced, professional with a background in commercial contracts to join our friendly, hardworking Governance Risk and Compliance and Legal team and make a significant, long-lasting contribution to a high-profile business, at a key point in its development by being a Legal Partner to the Commercial business across the UK and AU.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You will be acting as a legal partner to the commercial business providing legal input into strategy, risk assessment and commercialisation to support the Perkbox Vivup Growth Strategy
• Supporting the Growth teams by driving complex negotiation & contracting across the supply chain and customers. Leading negotiations (private and public sector) reviewing and drafting extensive legal agreements to facilitate the delivery of employee benefits.
• Draft customer-facing legal documents and provide strategic legal advice across UK and AU business units.
• Work with the DPO on data, digitization, privacy, and manage legal risks to support commercial success.
• Improve legal processes for efficiency and stay informed about relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
• Handle additional legal matters, including lease reviews and ad-hoc requests.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Lawyer and with a minimum of 3 years PQE.

• Current Practicing Certificate for England and Wales.

• Demonstrated ability to recognise and resolve legal issues and manage risk.

• Must have ability to plan, multi-task, organise and control heavy work volume.

• Must have experience of UK Data Protection.

• In-house experience preferred

• Exceptional stakeholder. management and communication skills.

• ‘Self-starter’

• Ability to work within a wider risk team.

The Interview Process

Our interview process involves 3 main stages:

• Short call with a member of the Talent team
• 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
• Final Interview and task with two members of the team
