Associate Trainer

The Professional Learning Services work to provide expert safeguarding and child protection training and support to external professionals and organisations working or volunteering with children, or whose staff may come into contact with them.

To achieve this, we develop and deliver a range of products, services, and tools. This includes online learning, face-to-face and virtual training, and safeguarding consultancy. Our products reach over 80,000 professionals each year and fulfil our mission of being the go-to-place for safeguarding training and tools for anyone directly or indirectly working or volunteering with children.

Are you an experienced professional in safeguarding and child protection? Do you have a passion for impactful training and a solid grasp of the adult learning cycle? If so, we want you as an Associate Trainer!

As an Associate Trainer, you'll deliver our comprehensive National Training Programme to a variety of organisations across the UK. You should have significant experience in safeguarding and child protection, backed by a strong professional background. Using your expertise, you'll provide engaging, high-quality training to both professionals and volunteers. Experience in delivering training and a thorough understanding of the adult learning cycle are essential. We are particularly interested in candidates from Wales and Northern Ireland, and would also welcome applications from those in England.

We welcome professionals from education, health, early years, and charity sectors, as your skills are highly transferable to our training environment. We are particularly interested from those with experience in online safety, harmful sexual behaviour, midwifery & health visiting. You should have a proven track record in training adult learners, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage, inspire, and motivate your audience.

Flexibility to adapt to our dynamic training schedule and the ability to travel to various locations as needed are also required.

Additional Information: Associates work on an as-needed basis, with training sessions allocated according to your availability, skills, and expertise.
