Position:

We are looking for a Mental Health Network Children’s and Young Person Case Manager to join our existing team to provide clinical case management to IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners working with children & young people (CYP). To respond to clinical queries from IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners and conduct CYP case reviews.

The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely.

To respond to clinical queries from IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners, and conduct CYP case reviews.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Mental Health Network Children’s and Young Person Case Manager to join our existing team. To respond to clinical queries from IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners, and conduct CYP case reviews. To ensure that Network Practitioners are following relevant company policies and procedures in the conduct of their work, and provide guidance on questions of policy and procedure. To review e-forms and reports submitted by Network Practitioners working with CYP. To help manage and escalate CYP cases where clinical risk or safeguarding concerns have been identified.

Responsibilities including:

  • Carry out case management supervision supporting IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners to deliver treatment in line with NICE Guidelines and company policy.
  • To make appropriate recommendations around CYP case management in terms of treatment and onwards referral as required on a case-by-case basis.
  • To respond to clinical queries from IPRS Therapists, Network Practitioners and patients, and conduct CYP case reviews.
  • To ensure that any recommendations for further treatment, onward referrals or clinical investigations are reasonable using clinical reasoning, clinical experience/knowledge and current evidence.
  • To liaise with IPRS Health clinicians and network clinics to gather sufficient information on a patient’s progress to enable case management decisions to be made.
  • To ensure that IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners are following company policies and procedures in the conduct of their work with CPY, and provide guidance on questions of policy and procedure.
  • To review CYP e-forms and reports submitted by Network Practitioners.

To help manage and escalate CYP cases where clinical risk or safeguarding concerns have been identified.

Requirements:

We are looking for our new Mental Health Network Children’s and Young Person Case Manager to be a team player, communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing, time manage to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment and to be motivated to contribute to helping thousands each year.

To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following:

Qualifications:

  • Have a professional qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Hold full BABCP accreditation having had their first audit with the BABCP

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years CBT experience working with children & young people through both virtual and face to face treatment and assessment
  • Experience of clinical case management

Knowledge:

  • You will be computer literate with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
  • Ability to time manage effectively and demonstrate excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the patient and their needs
  • Logical decision making and a pro-active approach to operational and clinical management
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail

Other information:

Salary:£40,000-£46,000 per annum

Hours:40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Location:Remote working within the UK

Position:Permanent full-time role
