Job Description

Your RoleAs the Product Owner - Finance and Billing, you will be at the intersection of business and IT, steering the development and execution of a product roadmap that integrates financial management, billing workflows, and compliance systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams-including finance, technical teams, and compliance-to design, prioritize, and implement solutions that align with strategic business goals.

This role goes beyond financial acumen; it's about leveraging technology to optimize processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap Development: Develop and manage a product roadmap focused on integrating technology with financial and billing operations to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Backlog Management: Own the product backlog, prioritizing features and improvements based on user feedback, business value, and strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between business needs and IT solutions by working with finance, compliance, and technical teams to define requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives to optimize workflows, automate processes, and implement cutting-edge features like advanced financial reporting, multi-currency support, and compliance tools.
  • User Adoption & Training: Ensure effective deployment and adoption of solutions by providing training and support to stakeholders.
  • Agile Delivery: Champion agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements and ensure alignment with business needs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Compliance and Accuracy: Oversee the implementation of systems that meet financial regulations, tax compliance standards, and reporting accuracy requirements.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in financial management tools, preferably Dynamics 365 Finance or equivalent systems, with a focus on leveraging IT for business success.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to align technology initiatives with broader business goals, driving impactful digital change.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Experience leading cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration, and delivering results on time.
  • Analytical Skills: A knack for problem-solving and developing innovative, user-centric IT solutions.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of compliance requirements, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards in a multi-currency environment.
