Noesis Is Looking For Candidates With The Following Profile

What will they do as an IT / OT Operations Engineer?

The team consists of four Edge Platform Engineers dedicated to developing, deploying, and maintaining the Edge environment in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Their core responsibilities include effective communication, service management, scripting, configuration, and building strong connections between stakeholders. A key focus is on automating and streamlining operations to ensure a stable, high-quality service. We are seeking individuals who are driven by a passion for simplifying and optimizing the operational stability of the service.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain industrial connectivity solutions like Matrikon and Kepware to
ensure seamless and reliable integration.
Streamline and automate the installation and configuration processes for these products, ensuring consistency and efficiency across deployments.
Serve as an Edge consultant, taking full ownership of the service's performance, including driving its adoption, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to its overall success.
Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance edge technology, focusing on operational efficiency and reliability

Requirements

Inglês nivel C1 minimo.
Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in an IT or OT automation environment.
MBO or HBO education, preferably with a focus in IT

OT Knowledge Preference

Basic understanding of OT concepts and protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC DA / UA, industrial networks).
Familiarity with the concepts and functions of Process Control Systems, such as SCADA and DCS

IT Knowledge Preference

Basic knowledge of Windows system administration.
General understanding of infrastructure, including application servers and databases.
Familiarity with system integration and integration principles using REST APIs, as well as protocols like MQTT and AMQP
Understanding of data concepts and structures, such as ISA - 88 and JSON
Basic programming skills in languages like Node. js, Python, or Java, with a strong desire to develop further.
Fundamental networking knowledge.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and managed services, particularly with Amazon AWS
Preferably experienced in scripting for IT infrastructure deployment and containerization.
Basic understanding of data analytics.
Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and Scrum methodologies at a conceptual level.
