This is a remote position.

Job Description for Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for both the mobile detailing supplies business and e-commerce company
  • Implement and maintain efficient expense tracking systems for the mobile business
  • Streamline invoice processing and management for both business entities
  • Catch up on backlogged financials for the e-commerce company, focusing on 2024 records
  • Perform regular account reconciliations in both QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting systems
  • Generate timely and accurate financial reports to support business decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
  • Proficiency in both QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Familiarity with e-commerce accounting practices is a plus

Scope:

  • Flexible 20 hours a week with a morning catch up every other Monday
  • Handle bookkeeping for two distinct business entities
  • Work remotely, with flexibility to align with the client’s time zone if needed
  • Catch up on backlogged financials and maintain ongoing bookkeeping processes
