Power BI Developer [Trainee Remote]

We are company focused on delivering data-driven solutions to clients worldwide. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Power BI Developer Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This apprenticeship will provide hands-on experience in data analysis, report development, and business intelligence.

Job Overview:

As a Power BI Developer Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI. You will learn to transform data into actionable insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance your technical skills in data visualization and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power BI and related tools.
  
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  
• Support the maintenance and optimization of Power BI reports to improve performance.
  
• Learn and apply best practices in data modeling, visualization, and Power BI usage.
  
• Create and maintain data pipelines for automated data updates.
  
• Help with troubleshooting and resolving Power BI-related issues.
  
• Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities with the development team.
  
• Document reports, dashboards, and procedures for internal use.
  

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  
• Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and data structures.
  
• Familiarity with data visualization concepts and tools, preferably Power BI.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  
• Willingness to learn and grow within the Power BI and business intelligence space.
  
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Basic knowledge of Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power BI.
  
• Experience with cloud-based services such as Azure or Power BI Service.
  
• Familiarity with other BI tools or data platforms.
  
• Understanding of business intelligence and analytics principles.
