Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Security Specialist to join our team and safeguard our digital assets. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Security Strategies: Design and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures to protect the organization’s information assets.
• Conduct Security Audits: Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability tests to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor Network Traffic: Continuously monitor network activity to detect unusual patterns and investigate potential security breaches.
• Manage Security Tools: Administer security tools, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems, to ensure optimal performance and protection.
• Collaborate with IT Teams: Work with IT and development teams to integrate security practices into system designs and operational processes.
• Respond to Security Incidents: Lead incident response efforts, conduct investigations, and implement recovery measures following security breaches.
• Stay Updated on Security Trends: Keep abreast of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.

Qualifications:

• Proven Success in Cybersecurity: Demonstrated experience in IT security roles, with a track record of effectively managing cybersecurity operations.
• Relevant Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Strong Skills in Security Technologies: Proficiency in managing security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and encryption solutions.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective security solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-security standards.
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
