Job Summary 

 

Oldcastle Infrastructure Inc. (OII) is looking for a Salesforce Functional Lead. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, ideally in precast concrete, and will be adept at bridging the gap between business users and technical teams. This role involves gathering key business requirements, documenting existing processes, and working with technical teams to translate these processes into more efficient solutions. This role will also support in regression and validation testing of new designs to ensure they meet business needs and operational standards.

The primary systems that this role will be working to help implement across OII are Logik.Io, CDS, Salesforce/CPQ and SAP SD.

This position will report to the Managers of the Sales COE and will work closely with the design/build and deployment functional and technical teams, the service desk, and other IT teams. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  

  • Requirement Gathering: Collect and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Process Documentation: Document existing business processes and workflows to translate current state process to the Design team and inform system architecture and design for ongoing implementations.
  • Solution Collaboration: Collaborate with COE Architects and Technical teams to translate business processes into efficient solutions using Logik.io, Salesforce, and SAP technologies.
  • General System Configuration: Supporting with general config in areas of User Set Up, Reporting, List Views, and Logik.io data table updates.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, bridging the worlds of business process and system implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Manufacturing Background: Experience in manufacturing, with a preference for knowledge in precast concrete.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Logik.io, Salesforce, and SAP technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for translating complex technical information into understandable terms.
  • Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Testing Proficiency: Experience in regression and validation testing of new designs.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
