About the role
The Account Manager will strategically manage and nurture key client accounts within the Account Management job family. They will leverage their expertise to propel business growth and shape strategies at a professional level.
Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand business opportunities
Building and maintaining enduring, long-term client relationships through regular communication and effective account management practices
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
Identifying and pursuing opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients
Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities within assigned accounts
Providing leadership and guidance to junior account management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Have a proven track record of successfully managing large key accounts in a similar professional role
Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
Be adept at developing and executing strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve targets
Demonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and industry trends within the Account Management function
Be capable of providing leadership and mentorship to junior account management professionals
Possess a relevant background in business, marketing, or a related field
Have a solid grasp of financial principles and the ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively
Be proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage client accounts efficiently
