Summary:

This position is responsible for leading and improving the IT Collaboration Engineering practice for HUB International.  They will ensure that collaboration platforms are designed, planned, and implemented in a stable, secure, and supportable way. Key to this position will be the ability to collaborate directly with the business and deliver enterprise-wide solutions that meet and exceed requirements.   This role will utilize both business awareness and technical expertise to create and deliver a best-in-class customer experience strategy.

This Collaboration Engineer will be responsible for overall real-time voice & video collaboration experience across North America.  This person must keep up with technology trends, design solution strategies, produce product road maps, and drive overall project execution.

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall real-time video collaboration experience
• Leverage previous experience with Microsoft Teams to ensure rooms are connected properly and resolve any issues during engagements.
• Lead Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice implementation, administration and troubleshooting
• Provide industry best practices regarding customer experience and collaboration strategy.
• Communicate with business owners to document objectives and goals, and create solutions to help them meet their goals.
• Interface with vendor partners to ensure they are delivering the best possible technical solution.
• Create clear processes and documentation to ensure continued collaboration success.
• Act as a subject matter expert and an escalation point for all Video collaboration related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced experience and knowledge in Microsoft Teams and Zoom audio and video conferencing is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office365 Collaboration and Communication experience including Microsoft Teams administration, O365 Licensing general knowledge, and Voice routing integration with Microsoft Teams EV & Soft phone deployments.
• MSFT Teams experience depth in the following areas: Conferencing, Soft Phone, Live Events, MSFT Teams Room.
• Proven experience with video conferencing solutions to include Crestron Processor, AirMedia, Touch Panel, Logitech TAP, Biamp Dialer, Biamp DSP, and Digital Signage Player
• Strong knowledge of both TDM and SIP telecommunications protocols
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent generally requires 6-9 years related Audio Visual experience

Although hybrid to a local HUB office is desirable, we are open to remote candidates.

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
