Position Title: Software Engineer III, ServiceNow (P3)

Role

As a Software Engineer III, ServiceNow you’ll join our Data & Digital team helping us lead, design, and build our digital transformation and define what’s next for our business—while working in an organization that’s continuously investing in data and systems. The Data and Digital team is focused on developing innovative solutions, utilizing modern technologies, and delivering critical data, geo-spatial, and logistic capabilities to our customers.

Software Engineer III, ServiceNow will play a key role in designing, enhancing, implementing, and maintaining effective and scalable solutions using ServiceNow, and integrating with third party and in-house products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead upgrades, maintenance, configuration of, and integration with ServiceNow.
  • Participate in all phases of the development life cycle and take a lead role with requirements analysis, software design, reviewing the work of others, setting standards, and providing Level 3 production support.
  • Develop technical solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform, modern development languages, and frameworks.
  • Research new functionality in response to enterprise-scale business requirements, systems configurations, or technology innovations.
  • Provide technical mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and maintain relevant documentation for new enterprise-scale technologies.

Education/Certifications

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
  • Extensive professional ServiceNow experience required
  • Related ServiceNow certifications preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years experience developing and administering ServiceNow
  • Broad knowledge of integrating ServiceNow to external platforms via Web Services
  • Experience developing custom applications, workflows, and automations within ServiceNow
  • Integration experience between ServiceNow and third-party systems, tools, and data sources.
  • Understand cloud-based architectures, with expertise in designing scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Proficient in JavaScript and understands REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.
  • Proficient with relational databases and scripting to manage data within ServiceNow.
  • Write and maintain software code from front-end interfaces to back-end logic for applications, systems, or tools that access or retain all or some data related to customers, financial information, or personally identifiable information (PII). Subject to local and state eligibility, a pre-employment background check will be conducted for criminal convictions, including misdemeanors and felonies related to fraud or violence. A credit check may also be conducted.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, participating in or leading sprint planning and execution

Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of occasional on-site/in-person collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter and may require up to 10-15% travel.

The salary range offered for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 annually. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
