Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced Law Department that supports The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, its other affiliated life insurance companies, its broker dealer (Hornor, Townsend & Kent), its asset managers and registered investment advisors (collectively “the Company”). The position will provide the opportunity to do discrete research projects and will entail a significant amount of time reviewing, and drafting, various legal documents, practice guides, and memoranda of law. The internship will introduce law students to the varied and complex legal issues encountered in a corporate legal setting and will enable the chosen intern to take an active role advising corporate stakeholders on significant legal issues. . In addition the chosen intern will gain invaluable experience working in a high tempo, values-oriented team culture. Penn Mutual’s in-house law department handles many areas of law, and in addition to the above opportunities, will endeavor to pair the ideal candidate with projects in their area(s) of interest. when available.

Required Experience
Education/Licenses/Professional Designations
- College Degree
- Completion of at least 1 year of an accredited law program and current enrollment in an accredited law program; 2L preferred
10 week program - pay rate - $30 an hour
