Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SQA Software Tester to join our team on a one-year remote contract. This role will be integral to the NCCRIS project at NCDIT-Transportation, focusing on both manual and automated testing of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute software manual and automation testing for new releases and upgrades of applications developed for the NCCRIS Project and internally by the NCDIT-Crash Team.
  • Collaborate closely with application development teams to define testing tasks.
  • Perform Unit Testing, System Testing (both Manual and Automation), Component Integration, System Integration, Regression, Performance, and Disaster Recovery Testing.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years experience with VB scripting for creating and modifying code for test cases.
  • At least 5 years of experience utilizing Automated Testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Proficient in using Jira, OpenText ALM, and UF.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred, along with technical or professional certifications in Software Testing.
