Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Solutions Architect to work in the Washington, DC area with potential for working remotely. A United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

     Must Have:

• Enterprise Architecture - 3+ years’ experience

Strongly Desired:

• Designing and architecting large-scale applications, including SaaS and cloud-based applications - 3+ years’ experience
• Java/Web Applications and contemporary development platforms/frameworks - 5+ years’ experience
• Experience taking disparate business problems and delivering the best technology solutions for large-scale applications - 3+ years’ experience
• Experience working in one or multiple IT areas, but with the versatility to grow in other areas:
• Cloud enabled/cloud native solutions
• SecDevOps
• Advanced Analytics
• Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Robotic Process Automation
• Integration/API/Microservices
• User Experience
• Agile Methodologies e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to influence and negotiate
• Experience supporting portfolio rationalization, digital transformation, and convergence of IT applications, focusing on Lean, Agile, & value driven approaches, transitioning from traditional monolithic system design and development to common business services and capabilities
• Experience supporting GSA

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

Clearance:

• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
