Success Academy™ offers communication, sales, management, leadership, technical, and customer service training exclusively for Authority Brand’s franchise groups: Benjamin Franklin Plumbing®, Mister Sparky Electric®, and One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning®.

The Operations Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs to franchise team members. This role will focus on providing instructor-led training (ILT) sessions, both in-person and virtually, and developing computer-based training (CBT) programs. The successful candidate will also coordinate travel to various franchise locations to ensure consistent and effective training across the franchise network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instructor-Led Training: Deliver engaging and informative instructor-led training sessions to franchise team members, ensuring content is clear, relevant, and practical for the roles being trained.
  • Training Development: Design and develop new instructor-led training sessions tailored to meet the evolving needs of franchise teams. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Computer-Based Training Programs: Create computer-based training modules that support remote and self-paced learning, using interactive and multimedia elements to enhance understanding and retention.
  • Travel Management: Coordinate and manage travel arrangements to franchise locations as required, ensuring smooth logistical planning and adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Assist and formulate solutions to problems and training gaps

Professional Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrate ability to remain agile and adaptive while maintaining optimal performance and delivery within a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • A self-starter, able to work autonomously to deadlines without extensive oversight or direction
  • G.E.D. or high school diploma required with 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or direct field experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Demonstrate advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
