About The Role

Arlo is at an exciting inflection point in its mission to bring trusted, smart security protection to help everyone protect everything they love. With our globally-scaled, highly secure cloud-based platform that manages more than 270 million videos recorded per day across 31 million devices worldwide, our customers actively engage with the Arlo app as the primary “remote control” for their security. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial-minded sales leader with deep expertise in mobile ad platform sales to lead the commercial strategy and delivery of Arlo’s new in-app advertising solution.

This talented and driven commercial leader will introduce and evangelize our new advertising platform, generate awareness with partners including ad agencies and advertisers, and build a strong book of business that will help fuel the next wave of innovation and growth at Arlo.

This role will be responsible for owning the full revenue cycle for our advertising platform, including building out the value proposition for advertising agencies and partners, creating the commercial strategy, setting and managing the forecast, measuring and reporting results and providing ongoing feedback from partners and clients to drive platform optimization and growth.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

  • Understand and develop Arlo’s ad platform positioning and value proposition in the ad industry and consumer market
  • Work with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, technology services, finance and marketing to develop and execute the commercial strategy for Arlo’s advertising platform
  • Build relationships with senior executives across ad agencies and other partners to establish mindshare for Arlo’s platform
  • Provide advertising industry insights, market trends and feedback to Arlo’s product, marketing and executive teams
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in building and managing a rolling revenue forecast along with weekly reporting including analysis and insight on trends, performance and recommended optimizations
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of using insights to drive platform performance
  • Participate in industry events and conference

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in digital media/ad tech sales, ideally with 4+ years in mobile advertising, platform, DSP/programmatic advertising
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field
  • Strong relationships with senior level executives at leading advertising agencies and ad industry partners
  • Deep expertise in digital advertising principles and technologies, sales cycle, and industry trends
  • Hands on experience building sales materials, content and data visualization to support the sales cycle
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to set sales OKRs, define KPIs, assess performance and identify actionable opportunities to drive continuous improvement to the business
  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work effectively from remote location
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to travel 50% or more

The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between $200,000 - $330,000/year, plus equity. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits. Details of all benefits will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
