Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$106,300 - $125,000

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Video Investment at Purple will be a key player on our growth team, responsible for driving and optimizing acquisition campaigns across multiple channels including YouTube, programmatic online video, connected TV, and linear television.
In this role, the Senior Manager, Video Investment will work closely with our VP, Advertising and Growth and other marketing and creative stakeholders to enhance our media mix and achieve business results across our ecommerce, retail and wholesale businesses.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Lead the development and execution of growth campaigns across all video channels; including linear, streaming, online video, and youtube.   
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and creative teams on executional needs for TV and CTV advertisements
  • Build channel strategies that drive both short-term and long-term acquisition goals, delivering impactful business results.
  • Lead analysis and reporting on channel performance, partnering with marketing analytics on developing tools and measurement methodologies.
  • Manage the TV agency relationship and ensure effective collaboration with digital channels to maximize the impact of our marketing programs.
  • Oversee all aspects of activation from buying to trafficking, to posting to reporting, to billing reconciliation.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years experience in programmatic video buying, TV marketing, streaming, or similar roles.
  • Deep understanding of test-and-learn approaches in performance marketing, with the ability to experiment, test, and optimize to improve campaign performance and business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to use data, insights, and analytics to inform strategy, influence business decisions, and drive continuous improvement in marketing efforts
  • Hands on experience buying programmatic video through YouTube, TradeDesk, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with media agency management.
  • Experience with brands that have an online DTC presence, and a retail presence is a plus
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Well-organized with great time management skills
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media, communications, or a related field
