Job description

Overview:

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Benefit Technology Specialist to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Mansfield, MA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement OE setups for assigned clients in ADP WFN, including build/update benefit plans and related info in HRB following documented process and procedures with minimal errors

  • Engage with the Carrier Connections team and ADP OE Specialist during OE for clients with connections in place to ensure required changes are relayed to ADP, and OE enrollments are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Also includes engagement carrier connections team for any changes required to the Multi-Tenant File for BCBSMA.

  • Monitor Benefit Technology Team dedicated e-mail box at least once daily and respond to requests for maintenance, troubleshooting and routine tasks from clients and other HRK team members in a timely manner

  • Troubleshoot and answer technical questions related to ADP WFN HRB for HRK team members

  • Develop advanced ADP WFN custom report writing skills pertaining to census files for carrier updates, post OE files for new business, etc.

  • Routinely interact/collaborate with internal teams in a helpful and productive manner

  • Routinely interact with assigned client contacts, as required

  • On occasion, assist Benefit Implementation Specialists with new client ADP WFN Implementations, upgrades, and optimizations, including determine benefit eligibility groups based on set HRK and ACA guidelines, build benefit plans, assist with benefit enrollments, assist with auditing of deduction costs, setup of workflows, create permission groups, add standard content, post company policies, and other required steps as outlined in the project plan

  • Assist with new ACA implementations, ongoing maintenance, and year end 1095 auditing, for review and approvals

  • Assist in documenting and maintaining process and procedures for Benefit Technology Team, as well as “How To” process documents for internal and external clients in completing routine tasks in ADP WFN as pertains to HRB, Portal, and Workflow, as required

  • Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of HRK and ADP WFN processes and procedures and stay up to date on enhancements as they pertain to ADP WFN, keeping other team members abreast of any changes

  • Willing and flexible to help with any urgent issues that happen to arise at the company, even if they are outside the immediate scope of the role

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Degree in HRIS or other related field preferred, though specific experience, can be substituted for required degree
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred
  • At least 2 to 3 years prior HRIS or related experience desired
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and adaptive technical ability required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Asana
  • Excellent organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, strong administrative and analytical skills.
  • Reliable with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt at prioritizing responsibilities and tasks to effectively meet deadlines
  • Personable, a good listener and can effectively communicate with all staff and client types through both written and verbal means
  • Works efficiently both independently and as a member of a larger team
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as employment legislation, policies, agreements operating procedures, quality control procedures, and instructions
  • Ability to speak effectively in one-on-one conversations and before groups

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with people at all levels of the organization and excellent stakeholder management skills
