Promotion Planner

Overview

Strategically schedule and track all promotional spots and on-air graphics for the networks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a database of house numbers to ensure correct placement on-air.
• Work closely with the writer/producers and graphic artists to coordinate production timelines.
• Adhere to the scheduling deadlines of the sales operations department.
• Coordinate with broadcast operations to handle last-minute changes and timing adjustments.
• Assist with promotional shoots for the network.
• Provide backup coverage for other planners as needed.

Work Environment

Work from home two days per week and work in the office three days per week. Normal office environment.

Education & Experience

• Some television experience (especially promotions, programming, or traffic/operations) preferred but not required. Training will be provided on specific software and network procedures.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• WideOrbit and Monday.com experience a plus.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented and a strong communicator.
• Enjoys working with a diverse team of planners, producers, and graphic artists.
• Must be punctual and have excellent time management skills.
• Thrives in a deadline-driven environment with some after-hours availability.
• Must be dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
