About ShipperHQ and this position:

ShipperHQ is headquartered in Austin, TX making a big impact in the e-commerce shipping space. Founded in 2009, we are a premier supplier of shipping software for e-commerce sites, selling to both SMB and Enterprise customers. We have 50+ team members spread across the globe with 30+ members based in Austin, Texas. We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong collaborative mindset.

The VP of Sales is responsible for leading the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will oversee the sales strategy and execution, manage key customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling successful sales teams and driving revenue growth.

Your Impact:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Serve as both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing sales team while actively supporting sales efforts to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets, including the design and implementation of compensation and incentive plans to drive performance.
  • Revenue Growth & Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive revenue growth and brand visibility.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data analysis to identify growth opportunities and improve performance.
  • Process & Efficiency: Establish and maintain scalable sales processes, tools, and metrics to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies and support overall business growth.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and build industry connections.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) with 6+ years in sales leadership, including 3+ years of experience with HubSpot and a track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in SaaS (both high-volume SMB and Enterprise), e-commerce, and bootstrapped companies.
  • Leadership & Strategy: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams, develop and execute successful sales strategies, and drive business growth through effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analytical & Technical Skills: Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities to engage internal teams, key customers, and strategic partners.

Logistics:

  • This is a full-time position
  • Remote work available within the US; preference for local candidates to work in a hybrid model from our Austin, TX office two days per week
