The Role

The Jr ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures the optimal performance, availability, and integrity of the ServiceNow environment, working closely with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to support and enhance the platform's functionalities. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with ServiceNow, contributing to our IT service management processes and supporting our growing organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring its availability, performance, and security
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to enhance functionality
  • Develop and manage ServiceNow integrations with other systems and applications
  • Provide user support, including troubleshooting issues and answering questions related to ServiceNow functionalities
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver ServiceNow solutions
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement best practices for ServiceNow administration, including upgrade management and change control processes
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates and new features and recommend enhancements to leverage these effectively
  • Other tasks as defined by manager

What You’ll Bring

  • 1+ years of IT support or System administration experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification
  • Team player, with a positive “can-do” attitude”
  • Proven ability to troubleshooting problems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Some experience with ServiceNow configuration
  • Independent/self-managing individual who requires little guidance
  • Collaborative team player

Nice To Have

  • Some understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices
  • Any Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification, preferably in ITSM, CSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM
  • Some experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript)
  • Some understanding of common ServiceNow development methodologies
