The Yacht Manager will be responsible for a fleet of vessels, acting as the primary point of contact between the vessel, the Crew and the Owner’s representatives.
She/He will work under direct supervision and reporting to the Operation Manager in
Hamburg office.
As part of the company expansion, the job is a new opening. The position is a long-term opportunity to have growing responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Acting as the main point of contact for the vessel, between Crew, Owner or/and Owner’s team, suppliers.
Operational Management of a fleet of vessels (private and commercial).
Technical coordination with the support of the Technical Management team.
Crew Management coordination with the support of the Crew Manager.
Budget and cost control (cash flow management, reporting to client,…).
Safety Management/ISM with the support of the Compliance department.
Participation in the Emergency Response Team if required.
Helping with any other ad hoc tasks reasonably requested.
Requirements
Sea-going experience in a senior deck rank position (large yacht and/ or small passenger ship),– or track record experience in yacht management and/or dealing with UHNWI environment.
Minimum 10 years’ overall experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, diplomacy skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels (dealing with Owners, Captains, suppliers and various stakeholders).
Effective solution finding, autonomous, disciplined and multi-tasking abilities.
Able to perform under stressful situations, involving multicultural environment and diverse topics.
Sound knowledge of ISM/ISPS, SOLAS, MLC & STCW. Previous auditing experience beneficial but not compulsory.
Solid technical knowledge of large yachts and their operation.
Very good knowledge of budget aspects and financial reporting, as well as written reporting in general.
Fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficiency in other languages will be an advantage.
Able to operate autonomously and self-disciplined.
Service minded and client oriented.
Good sense of humor.
