Position Description
We are currently searching for a Field Service Specialist to join our Service Solutions Team. The position will cover install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and support instruments at all levels for HW and/or SW. The FSE will be responsible for maintain and develop positive relationships with customers, actively promote and sell Field Service products, assist in meeting/ exceeding sales targets and related KPI's to maintaining high customer satisfaction, while providing prompt, professional and accurate advisory and support service to customers on all QIAGEN products.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and support instruments at all levels for HW and/or SW.
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers and references.
- Assist in meeting / exceeding sales targets and related KPI's in relation to maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Actively promote and sell Field Service products.
- Utilize relevant databases to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness.
- Positively represent QIAGEN to the customer.
- Promote QIAGEN or partner driven customer satisfaction surveys.
Position Requirements
- Graduated in Electronic Engineering or related careers: Automation Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the area is required.
- Technical and/or scientific and/or electronic experience, preferably experience in HW automation, service repair and maintenance to automated equipment.
- Service and support experience within the after sales service business.
- Valid driver's License, and availablility to travel extensively both nationally and internationally.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in the local language and the English language.
- Available to work shifts during the day, night and/or weekend (special on Saturdays).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or 25 kg.
