Extremely busy Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy company Abacus Therapies is looking for an HR Assistant who flourishes under pressure and maintains a professional manner under any and all circumstances. This person is disciplined, efficient and has the ability to coordinate, think quickly on their feet and follow-up to get things done. We are seeking someone with an exceptional eye for detail who can take the ball and run with it - at a minimum you must demonstrate stellar computer skills, have a sense of humor, and are a fast learner and great decision-maker. If you are motivated by looking back on your day with pride in a job well done, not stopping until it’s done right AND quickly, WE WANT YOU.

Ability to work during our business hours is a must (our office hours are 9am to 6pm New York/Miami time), due to various activities.

The Role

Responsibilities Include Assisting With

  • Coordinating new hire paperwork and ensuring all documents are completed
  • Managing HR files and records
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Assisting with in scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communication
  • Collecting and verifying timesheets and attendance records, inputting payroll data accurately
  • Assisting with conducting audits to ensure HR processes adhere to Abacus policies and legal requirements
  • Assisting in maintaining HR databases and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assisting with tracking employees training progress and completion.
  • Assisting in sourcing candidates through different job boards, coordinating interview, providing support to the recruitment team as well as HR Manager
  • Contributing ideas and suggestions for process improvements within the HR department

  • Fluent English phone and writing skills
  • Very proficient with using web and mobile applications
  • Strong willingness to constantly learn

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

  • Very reliable high-speed internet service for IP telephony for phone calls, etc.
