Your mission

As Director Technical Strategy (m/f/x) you will be responsible for defining and implementing the company’s technical roadmap, ensuring engineering efficiency, managing overall initiatives across multiple teams, and aligning these initiatives with the strategic objectives of the organization. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CTO and requires collaboration with company executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners to identify emerging technologies, assess their potential impact, and position sevdesk as a leader in the industry.


Here's how you'll make an impact:

  • Lead and oversee the development and execution of the company’s long-term technical strategy.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and business teams to ensure alignment of technical initiatives with business objectives.

  • Manage and lead the Technical Strategy Team.

  • Drive engineering efficiency and provide full transparency to all stakeholders.

  • Represent the company at key industry events and conferences to promote technical thought leadership.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Your Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in tech leadership roles, with at least 5 years in strategic planning or technical direction.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale technical initiatives and successfully implementing innovative solutions.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experienced in working with international, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and translate complex technical ideas into business value.
