Our client is seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee BIM Engineers. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or mid-career professionals eager to embark on an exciting journey in the Built Environment sector. As a Trainee BIM Engineer, you will develop technical expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), gaining practical experience in creating, coordinating, and managing BIM models. You will also contribute to cutting-edge digital delivery management in architecture, engineering, and construction projects.

The Role

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals eager to embark on an exciting journey in the Built Environment sector. As a Trainee BIM Engineer, you will develop technical expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), gaining practical experience in creating, coordinating, and managing BIM models. You will also contribute to cutting-edge digital delivery management in architecture, engineering, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • BIM Model Creation: Develop, coordinate, and manage 3D BIM models across various engineering disciplines (architecture, civil, mechanical, and electrical).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers to enhance communication and efficiency across project lifecycles.
  • Visualization & Digitalization: Interpret building plans and translate them into digital replicas, creating "digital twins" to improve project visualization and efficiency.
  • Project Support: Assist clients (contractors, consultants, and facility managers) in planning, designing, constructing, and managing projects using BIM tools and technologies.
  • Technology Adoption: Incorporate emerging digital technologies into project workflows, supporting innovation and optimization.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in a structured training program, gaining WSQ-accredited certifications and practical knowledge of the Built Environment.

Training & Career Progression

  • Training Program: Two months of classroom training on BIM and CAD applications
  • On-the-Job Training: Practical experience on live projects under the mentorship of senior BIM Engineers and trainers.
  • Career Pathway: Progress from Trainee BIM Engineer to roles such as BIM Coordinator, and BIM Manager

Ideal Profile

  • You have a degree or diploma in Built Environment-related fields such as: Architecture, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Candidates from graphic arts, or design backgrounds are also welcome to apply.
