- Coordination with PH Payroll Provider:
Coordinate with the Philippine payroll provider to provide required payroll details.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of information necessary for payroll processing.
- Financial Reporting Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams to gather and consolidate financial data necessary for accurate financial reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate sharing of financial information with stakeholders to support company-wide decision-making and reporting requirements.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial reports, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time using the Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS) and other online platforms.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations by maintaining organized and accurate records.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws
Manage and safeguard petty cash funds, ensuring accurate disbursement, documentation, and timely reconciliation.
- Financial Reporting Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams to gather and consolidate financial data for the preparation of accurate financial statements (FS).
Facilitate the review, finalization, and submission of audited financial statements (AFS) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications for a Bookkeeper
- QuickBooks Expertise: Trained in QuickBooks, preferably with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP).
- Philippine Compliance: Knowledge or experience in handling Philippine books, taxes, and government compliance requirements.
- Work Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in both corporate and virtual setups.
- English Proficiency: Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively during client calls with U.S.-based small business owners.
