Global Compliance Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery and maintenance of all facets of the Corporate Compliance Programme, including Code of Conduct; global Speak-Up process; Gifts & Entertainment process; Corporate Compliance communications, Training and Interventions; Compliance Reporting and Corporate Compliance programme assessment.
  • Plan and establish annual training programs on various Compliance topics, as well as the establishment of action plans for training, operation, and reporting of results.
  • Support the Company in the carve-out of the Corporate Compliance function following divesture from the Parent Company.
  • Management of global Compliance team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support the Compliance program requirements throughout the Company.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of Anti-Corruption related controls to efficiently manage Corruption risks across the Company and ensure effective implementation of Anti-Corruption Policies and Procedures.
  • Implement and maintain the Sanctions Compliance program, including governance, policy and procedures, transaction monitoring and sanctions screening, independent testing, and any other issues relating to sanctions requirements.
  • Oversee Compliance vendors, including selection, implementation and management.
  • Manage Compliance matters related to personal conflicts of interest, including partnering with Internal Audit.
  • Collect, analyze, and develop reports on applicable Ethics & Compliance data and metrics.
  • Support the Company Chief Legal Officer in gathering and preparing Compliance-related materials for reporting purposes.
  • Manage Speak-Up, Whistleblowing investigation and reporting processes.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in Compliance practices and provide updates.

About You

  • Degree in Law (or other relevant qualification).
  • Minimum 8-10 years' combined experience as a practicing compliance/ethics professional in top tier law firm(s) or in-house.
  • Experience within the Global Payroll sector preferrable.
  • Experience and working knowledge of managing and/or implementing ESG /Sustainability.
  • Experience and working knowledge of US and Canada laws/regulations governing financial transactions, including operating as a money transmitter/third party processor/third party sender.
  • Experience to lead/manage significant parts of a Compliance program for an international organization.
  • In-depth understanding of anti-bribery and anti-corruption Compliance programs to meet requirements of applicable global anti-corruption laws.
  • Experience in implementing and developing a Sanctions screening program.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, listening, presentation skills, ability to work and communicate in a diverse global organization.
  • Team player, with cultural awareness and curiosity, willing to work with other functions and members of the global business.
  • Capable of taking and leading on a demanding role, while remaining a 'hands-on' compliance professional with energy and engagement in the day-today work.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

112,700 USD

Maximum :

178,900 USD
