SimCorp is experiencing a substantial increase in business globally and to support our growth we are looking for a Database Administrator in Europe. In this key role you will support our suite of Database products, and liaise with all our development and operations teams across the world to optimize their performance to support our client requirements.

What you will be responsible for:
Testing of Multi Asset Class Risk Analytics platform
Valuation of analytics for various asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, all kinds of Derivatives and Exotic Instruments
Collaborating with product, research, and quantitative development teams in testing of new features, methodologies etc.,
Interacting with clients to discuss quantitative issues, investigating and reproducing the problems they highlight
Testing activities may include writing test plans, executing tests, regression testing, in-sprint testing etc.
Follow Agile development processes and methodologies
Rely on experience and judgment to estimate testing time and accomplish goals
Keep management informed of testing progress status regularly
Perform a variety of tasks, and adapts to working on application which is unfamiliar
Creative ideas are suggested to solve problems
Professional communication skills are utilized, and made a primary focus
What we value:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in relevant area of specialty with some finance industry experience or MBA in Finance or a graduate degree in Financial Engineering or a similar program
FRM Level I or CFA Level II Certification
Around 3 years of experience in Financial Domain
Understanding of various risk modelling techniques, including the use of factor models, time-series methodologies and asset pricing
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development industry
Ability to work with large and complex data sets
Additional preferred skills
Experience working with a variety of asset classes
Understanding of Performance Attribution methodologies
FRM Level II or CFA Level III Certification
Programming experience in one of Python/R/.NET
Experience working with databases using SQL queries
Understanding of REST API and Postman
Experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripts
Exposure to SCRUM or other agile development processes
