The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Manager to join our Integrations & Extensibility Product Management team. In this role, you will focus on building integrations and frameworks that enable customers to extend our platform, allowing them to create custom micro-apps and develop integrations with both popular enterprise applications (like ServiceNow, JIRA, Workday, etc.) and bespoke internal systems. You will work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver flexible, scalable developer tools and APIs that drive extensibility and empower customers to build on top of our platform.

This role requires a strong technical background, as you will be responsible for creating frameworks that allow customers to independently extend platform functionality. Your prior experience as a developer, combined with your product management expertise, will be essential in translating complex technical needs into actionable requirements.

Your Job Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate with the Integrations & Extensibility team to define and execute the product roadmap for integrations, APIs, and extensibility features.
  • Ensure that the platform supports integrations with popular enterprise applications (like ServiceNow, JIRA, Workday) while enabling flexibility for customers to build and maintain their own integrations.
  • Work on building frameworks that allow customers to develop their own integrations and custom micro-apps, enabling a seamless extension of the platform.
  • Drive the creation of API management solutions, SDKs, and developer portals that make it easy for developers and customers to integrate with Simpplr as well as third-party systems.
  • Understand customer use cases and translate them into product requirements, focusing on creating extensible, modular, and scalable frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to ensure technical feasibility, high performance, and scalability of the platform’s extensibility capabilities.
  • Define key metrics to measure the success and adoption of integrations, developer tools, and custom-built micro-apps.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on integrations and developer tools, providing guidance and support to internal teams, customers, and partners as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in APIs, developer ecosystems, and extensibility, and apply that knowledge to enhance the product.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive product adoption, educate users, and ensure a seamless experience for both technical and non-technical customers.

Your Skillset: What Makes You a Great Fit for the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on developer tools, APIs, integrations, or extensibility.
  • Prior hands-on experience as a software engineer, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience building API-driven platforms, custom SDKs, and developer ecosystems.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and the ability to conceptualize and define how custom micro-apps can be built and extended on top of the platform.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and various authentication/authorization models for secure integrations.
  • Strong understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they interact with backend APIs to create extensible solutions.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of third-party integrations, not limited to common applications like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Workday, but also building frameworks that support customer-specific integrations.
  • Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to translate developer and engineering requirements into user-friendly product features.
  • Experience working in agile development environments, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and working closely with engineering teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in defining and tracking key KPIs to measure product success and drive continuous improvements.
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

We’d Especially Like To Hear From You If

  • You have experience building developer portals, integration, API centers, or custom frameworks.
  • You have worked on products that enable customers to extend the platform through their own microservices or custom apps.
  • You thrive in environments where you work on both technical and strategic product initiatives, and are comfortable engaging with developers and technical stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about creating tools and solutions that empower developers to build and innovate on top of the platform.
