We are currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Littelfuse R&D Electronics & Embedded Software Engineering team, focusing on Automotive Sensors. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from the Czech Republic, with occasional business trips to Kaunas, Lithuania.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to implement and maintain best coding practices, Agile (Scrum) methodologies, and processes, aiming to achieve the highest quality with the shortest time to market. To achieve that we use the code versioning system Gitlab along with its automation features (Gitlab-CI) for automated distributed builds and unit tests, performing code review practices, managing product backlog with Jira, and always searching for the newest tools that really help to get things done.
About the job:
Design and develop embedded software, test it and prepare reports, manage software change in automotive sensors area
Process new product requirements, build software specification
Ensure software creation and implementation according to valid quality standards, improve processes
Produce and administer software technical documentation
Apply best coding practices, tools, and processes, foster an Agile environment
About you:
Working experience in product creation and development within an Agile project environment
Proficient in writing code in C language and experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, Atmel, Microchip)
Skilled in reading hardware schematics and working with electronics laboratory equipment.
Team player with excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
Experience in technical English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE), TS/ISO 16949, and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) standards is a plus
Possesses a growth mindset with a "can do" attitude and a keen eagerness to learn new design patterns
Ability to go on business trips to Kaunas, Lithuania.
