KBR’s Digital Research, Engineering, Acquisition, and Materiel Management Team (DREAMM Team) provides comprehensive Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Data Analysis, DevSecOps, technical solution development, and training capabilities, serving our DoD customers. With a wide range of services and contract options, the DREAMM Team is dedicated to ensuring excellence in every aspect of our customer’s Digital Transformation journey, including strategy and implementation plan development, technical execution, and training and development courses.

Job Summary

Join our team as we redefine the digital landscape by supporting our program office in developing a digital twin and lifecycle. As a part of our mission, you'll gain valuable experience navigating the DoD acquisition system and sustainment lifecycle, identifying critical decisions, and applying digital technologies across various lifecycle phases. This exciting position will allow you to contribute to the creation of digital twins and symbiotic physical-digital representations of complex systems. Your expertise will help shape the future of digital solutions and technologies, driving our projects towards success and innovation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the program office in developing a digital twin and lifecycle framework
  • Analyze and map decision milestones within the DoD acquisition system
  • Enumerate data, analysis, and information needs to create a cohesive digital thread
  • Support design, architecture, planning, and implementation of comprehensive digital twins encompassing systems and engineering models, simulation results, and data from physical systems powering rapid system acquisition and sustainment decision making
  • Develop digital artifacts, including performance, business, and MBSE models
  • Provide expert insights into manufacturing processes for complex weapon systems
  • Outline processes and solutions for creating symbiotic physical and digital system representations
  • Apply knowledge of digital technologies at various lifecycle phases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance digital transformation goals

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline with 20 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, at least 28 years of progressive related experience in a specified field is required, or
  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 16 years of relevant experience
  • Certified ScrumMaster
  • Knowledge of MBSE and other digital engineering technologies
  • Hands-on experience with engineering, manufacturing, and testing of DoD weapon systems
  • Active DOD Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the DoD acquisition system
  • Experience in leading digital engineering efforts
  • Experience as a product manager

This position has a flexible workplace setting that is a remote where candidates can work from home but must be able to attend any/all on-site meetings.

Basic Compensation: $148,200 - $222,205

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
