Job description

About the job

Due to the client list for this position, we will require fluent Dutch

This role is part of our Brand and Advertising team based in Amsterdam.  Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from  Brand Strategists, Creatives, and Influencer Marketers to Account managers, Producers, and Video editors.  As a creative digital marketing agency, we mix old-fashioned creative storytelling with the best of what today’s technology has to offer to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like bol and Philips to name a few.

JOB PURPOSE

As an Influencer Marketing Manager, you are the main contact and sparring partner for both the client and the influencers during the entire process. You are responsible for the implementation, management, and quality control of campaigns, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. You demonstrate strong commercial insight and oversight, effectively building client portfolios.

You naturally have an overview and know exactly how to set priorities. Drawing up a schedule, monitoring the process, and delivering it on time are your specialties. Tight deadlines don't freak you out and you make sure to follow through with a "can do" approach. Strong project management skills are therefore essential. You are responsible for creating evaluation reports to assess the effectiveness and success of campaigns. Additionally, you are solution-oriented and can work independently to tackle any challenges that arise. With your extensive experience in the influencer industry, your opinion is respected and valued by both clients and internal teams.

INFLUENCER MARKETING at DEPT®:

  • A group of colleagues that will feel like friends in no time;
  • Good vibes: we’re trusting and believe that freedom and autonomy come with responsibility;
  • If you grow, we grow. That’s why we’ll cheer you on (and support you) with personal coaching, a development plan, and a budget;
  • Managing existing clients, projects, or new business? Whatever you like best and fits your ambition — we’ll find you projects that work for you as well as the other way around;
  • Clients that will make you feel like a proud ambassador, like Philips, Just Eat Takeaway and bol.com;
  • Best of both worlds: the pros of an international leading agency with the energy and caring mentality of your next-door agency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will expertly manage several influencer campaigns simultaneously on an independent basis;
  • You love the implementation phase, where you focus on customer satisfaction and projects are managed by you in detail;
  • You identify and maintain contact with influencers, negotiate competitive rates and draw up agreements;
  • Ensure good guidance for both the client and the influencers during the entire process, for both you are the point of contact and the sparring partner during the collaboration;
  • Monitoring performance and ROI: You track and analyze campaign results, write detailed evaluation reports, and create concrete recommendations to elevate the clients' influencer marketing. You independently discuss these insights with the client.
  • Professional guidance and development of junior team members.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Relevant amount of demonstrable work experience within influencer marketing and a built-up network in the media world;
  • Have great affinity with influencer marketing and social media. You are familiar with channels such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Twitch;
  • Have experience in managing influencer campaigns in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a wide range of objectives and KPIs;
  • The ability to quickly adapt and learn a new skill as needed for a project;
  • You have strong communication skills and master the Dutch and English language; both verbally and in writing;
  • Masters strong data and analytical skills to establish KPIs, interpret results, anticipate challenges and constitute solutions;
  • Are aware of the latest trends within influencer marketing & social media, have good relationships with influencers, and know which influencers are interesting to keep an eye on.

Even if you don’t meet all the requirements or have a different work background, consider applying for this vacancy if you think you are the right fit for the job! Of course, we love talent, but we’re also looking for a suitable addition to our DEPT® culture. Because that’s what makes everything more fun: from Monday morning meetings to Friday afternoon mixers and everything in between.

WE OFFER

  • The choice to work where you are most productive: whether that is in one of our offices, or abroad for 13 weeks a year. Rather work from home? No problem! We’ll provide you with the best of class materials, such as a high-quality laptop, monitor, work phone and the necessary furniture.
  • Everything to focus on your health: from free bootcamp to yoga lessons, mindfulness sessions, mental health services, serious discounts on sport memberships, healthy lunches at the office, and above all: a safe work environment.
  • Great fringe benefits; use of OV-bikes, an NS Business Card and many other goodies.
  • You can discover even more employee benefits here.
  • A reputation for doing good. DEPT® has been named a Great Place To Work in 2023 - in the Netherlands and has been a Certified B Corp® since 2021 and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
  • Awesome clients. Whether big or small, local or global — at DEPT® you’ll get the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes and across all industries. And we celebrate all of our successes together!
  • The opportunity for possibility. We want to enable you to do what you do best and help you develop your skills further with training, development and certifications.
  • Global annual DEPT® Cares Month in which employees come together and donate their skills to support local charities.

WHO ARE WE?

We are pioneers at heart. What does that mean? We are always looking forward, thinking of what we can create tomorrow that does not exist today. We were born digital and we are a new model of agency, with a deep skillset in tech and marketing. That’s why we hire curious, self-driven, talented people who never stop innovating.

Our culture is big enough to cope and small enough to care. Meaning, that with people across 30+ countries, we’re big enough to provide you with the best tools, global opportunities, and benefits that help you thrive. While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team, and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients problems, no matter where you are in the world.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.

Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.

We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.
