Job description

We all know every decision should be driven by data. But what about the data you don’t know? For years, the status quo in data aggregation has lacked visibility, moved slowly, and cost too much. Leaving organizations to make critical decisions, day after day, without the whole picture. Premise changes that.

Across 140 countries and counting, our technology connects communities of global smartphone users to source actionable data in real-time, cost- effectively, and with the visibility you need. So leaders inside organizations, non-profit agencies and governments can now make the best decisions under the best conditions.

With Premise, organizations win. And communities win, too. People can earn more from their opinions and discoveries. They can influence their cities for the better. And, unlike other data sourcing methods out there, they can do it all with full transparency that the data they’re gathering is going to an organization that values it and values them.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated East Coast-based Manager of Technology Services to oversee and lead our information security initiatives. In this role, you will ensure the company's IT and security needs are met. You will drive best practices in cloud security, network security, data protection, and compliance, all while aligning with our organizational goals. Additionally, you will be instrumental in the development and implementation of policies, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

*We are only able to consider candidates who live on the East Coast.

What You Will Do

  • Information Security Strategy: Define and refine the company’s information security policies, driving all information security initiatives across the organization.
  • Cloud Security & Compliance: Oversee the implementation of best practices in cloud security (including Google Cloud Platform), endpoint security, applications security, and network security. Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST, ISO27001, SOC2, and CMMC.
  • Policy Development & Documentation: Write, standardize, and share IT and security policies, procedures, and standards. Provide technical writing support by reviewing, proofreading, and documenting processes.
  • Project Management: Track and manage technology and security initiatives, including timelines, milestones, budgets, resources, and deliverables. Support the certification process to meet industry standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams such as Product, Customer Success, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to understand the evolving needs for infrastructure and services that support the platform.
  • Security & Risk Management: Support security analysts and engineers in managing access control, asset management, data protection, incident response, and security operations activities. Assist with risk assessments and design security questionnaires.
  • Governance & Compliance: Develop and maintain a governance framework for technology and security programs. Partner with other departments to support risk management, compliance efforts, and data privacy initiatives.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Manage platforms such as Confluence, Jira, and Google Sites for information sharing and case management.
