Forklift Operator

About the role 

Team Global Express are seeking 2 x Forklift Drivers to join our team in Port Melbourne.

1. General forklift operations including but not limited to:

• Unload and load vehicles and sort them appropriately and safely

• Scanning freight, freight sortation and re-palletising of freight

• Picking and preparing runs for following day

• Palletising freight for travel where required

2. General forklift operations + experience with over-dimensional freight and proficient in load restraint techniques using oz binders and chains and comfortable operating counterbalance forklifts with a capacity of 7 tonnes or more.

Both roles are a full time, permanent role with an early morning start (5:30am-6am). Overtime is available and will be offered on a need-by-need basis

What you’ll bring

• You will hold a Current & Valid Forklift License (Mandatory)

• You will be able to work as part of a team

• You will able to follow instructions and work autonomously where required

• You must have Full Rights to work in Australia

• You will have a high attention towards Safety
