This is a remote position.

Role Name: Appointment Setter - Hospitality Industry (Africa)

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description

As an Appointment Setter focusing on the African hospitality market, you’ll spearhead our client’s expansion into new territories. You’ll engage with decision-makers in the hospitality sector, introducing them to game-changing solutions that enhance their operations. Your role is crucial in opening doors and creating opportunities for our sales team. You’ll use your communication skills to qualify leads, generate interest, and book high-value appointments. This position offers a unique blend of tech industry exposure and insights into the African business landscape, providing an excellent springboard for your career in sales and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct targeted B2B cold calls to hospitality businesses in Mauritius, Seychelles, Kenya, and Uganda
  • Qualify leads and spark interest in our innovative services using a tailored script
  • Schedule appointments directly into the sales team’s calendar
  • Hit weekly appointment setting targets
  • Leverage provided lead lists for efficient outbound calling
  • Utilize cutting-edge calling systems like Google Voice Dialer
  • Track call outcomes and appointment details meticulously
Requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Cold calling or telemarketing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry a plus
  • Ability to work in GMT+3 time zone
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with business professionals
  • Self-motivated with a knack for independent work
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Adaptability to learn new technologies and processes
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets
  • Interest in African markets and cross-cultural communication
