The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are currently seeking a managing attorney to open and grow a staff counsel litigation office to cover the Austin and San Antonio, Texas territory.


Salary Range: The pay range for this position is $150,000-$185,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.


Be ready to:

  • represent the company and its policyholders in litigation in a territory covering the Austin/San Antonio corridor.
  • maintain a diverse caseload that includes both commercial and insurance litigation.
  • open and manage a staff counsel legal office of attorneys and support staff.

Be equipped with:

  • Texas law license
  • minimum 10 years experience as a civil litigation attorney, including jury trial experience.
  • experience in insurance defense litigation, including defending individuals, businesses and contractors in personal and commercial insurance cases.
  • desire to manage and grow a small legal office of litigation attorneys and support staff.
  • management experience preferred.
