Responsibilities

Linux Systems Administration:
Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems.
Dive deep into Linux kernel modules, configurations, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to ensure business continuity.
Automation & Configuration Management:
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and other scripting languages.
Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to manage large fleets of Linux machines.
Networking & Virtualization:
Configure and troubleshoot network issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
Work with virtualization technologies such as KVM and VMware.
Security & Incident Response:
Recognize and respond promptly to security incidents.
Cloud Platforms:
Work with cloud services and architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Required Skills

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Linux systems administration and development.
Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python, Perl, or Golang.
Strong understanding of Linux system internals, kernel, and device drivers.
Experience with configuration management tools managing large-scale Linux environments.
Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies like KVM and VMware.
