Job description

About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Business Development Associate to help us develop and strengthen relationships with new partners and expand our outreach motions for new and existing channels. You’ll be responsible for researching and connecting with potential partners to support client referrals to Grow Therapy and other new go-to-market opportunities. You’ll be a key part of growing new channels within our Partnerships team and will report directly into our Partnerships BD Lead, also working closely with Grow’s Co-founder and Partnerships Directors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching contacts and priorities at potential partners
  • Developing relationships with key referral partners through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and on-site meetings
  • Contributing to creative strategies to help finalize partnerships or develop new relationships with partners that are of high value to our organization and mission
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across the Partnerships team, Growth team, and Recruitment team to test new business development strategies
  • Analyzing new opportunities for partnerships at Grow and making recommendations on where to invest or prioritize organizational resources

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,250 USD.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • You have previous business development or sales experience at a fast-growing startup
  • You have strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You can collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of internal and external teams
  • You have experience in or exposure to the healthcare industry, with familiarity of the basic operations between payors, providers, and patients
  • You are proficient with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and have worked within a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc)
  • You live in or can commute to NYC
  • Bonus points:
    • Experience in the mental healthcare space

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.
