Abacode, the leader in cybersecurity and compliance, is hiring for a Finance & Accounting Representative position!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the monthly process of recognizing and recording revenue in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage and track company expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines, as well as compliance from employees regarding memos, receipts, etc.
• Support the accounts payable function by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Own weekly reporting on company cash flow as it relates to the budget.
• Support annual financial audit in a report gathering and creation capacity.
• Assist in the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries and generating financial reports.
• Own significant balance sheet account reconciliations and schedules, including unearned & accrued revenue, prepaid expenses, depreciation, amortization, etc.
• Manage accounts receivable and collections process, including contacting customers for payment and resolving outstanding issues.
• Reconcile daily and monthly bank statements and maintain accurate records of cash transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial forecasts and budgets, including gathering data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports.
• Process sales deals as they are closed, including sending out invoices, calculating commissions, and updating various internal spreadsheets.
• Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and databases with accurate information.
• Support the finance team on various ad hoc projects, including analyses on ROI's, sales metrics/reporting, and other financial initiatives as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software preferably QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
