Join us as a Software Developer III (Java/Python) in Canada. This is a full-time role with remote work options, available to candidates based in Canada.

Role Overview:

As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in a project for one of our Fortune 500 clients. We are seeking a candidate with at least 6 years of hands-on software development experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, and Python, and experience working with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
Use Java and Python to develop scalable and efficient applications.
Design and implement microservices and RESTful web services for seamless integration.
Leverage AWS cloud services to optimize system performance and reliability.
Implement and maintain CI/CD practices, utilizing tools like Jenkins to integrate with GitHub and Artifactory.
Demonstrate expertise in server programming, databases, SQL queries, and cloud architecture.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
At least 6 years of solid software development experience.
Proficiency in Java and Python development.
Hands-on experience with Microservices and RESTful web services.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Serverless.
Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services.
Experience with automation frameworks like Pytest or Nightwatch.
