Reporting to the Director of Energy Saving Ceilings, the Program Manager for Energy Incentives is responsible for leading the build and operationalization of Armstrong World Industry’s new energy incentive strategy. The program manager will be focused on identifying & researching existing incentives, coordinating qualifications with internal resources and monetize through relationships with sales & marketing.

What You Will Do
- Incentive Strategy Development:
- Design and execute a comprehensive energy incentive strategy, incorporating federal, state, and local programs such as the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Utility Rebates.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify incentives that align with AWI’s products and services.
- Identification and Qualification:
- Leverage internal and external resources to qualify available energy incentives.
- Maintain and update a database of incentives, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
- Monetization and Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing and sales to integrate incentives into customer offerings.
- Develop marketing tools to effectively communicate the value of energy incentives to clients.
- Government Relations and Compliance:
- Work with the Government Relations team to advocate for favorable policies and qualify for new incentive opportunities.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and communicate implications to key stakeholders.
- Sales Support and Education:
- Serve as the subject matter expert, guiding the sales team and customers in leveraging incentives.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to build organizational knowledge of energy programs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or similar roles.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, including federal tax incentives (e.g., IRA, 179D, ITC), utility rebates, and local and state Building Performance Standards (BPS) and energy funding/rebate programs.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Certification in energy management (e.g., CEM, LEED)
- Hands-on experience with the Inflation Reduction Act and other federal energy efficiency programs.
- Track record of driving energy initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Passion for sustainability and innovative thinking to enhance energy-saving strategies.
- Proficiency in data analytics and energy management software is a plus.
